You can create Author profiles if you have their details. In such a case, when an Author will go to the Submission page, they will be able to choose their name from the list of Authors and straightaway proceed to provide abstract details.
If an Author's profile is not created, then they have to add their details and then move on to provide Abstract information.
Moreover, adding Authors beforehand allows you to easily import email ids to invite them to submit Abstracts.
